ラテン語の「invertere」（逆にする）から派生した英語の「invert」に「-ible」をつけた形容詞。

A matrix is invertible if and only if its determinant is not equal to zero.
行列が逆行可能であるためには、その行列式がゼロでない場合に限ります。
