Discernibleは「識別できる、区別できる」という意味の形容詞であり、TOEFLや大学入試などの英語の試験で出題されることがあるため、中上級レベルの学習者が学ぶことが望ましい。また、類似単語としてperceptibleやapparent、distinguishableがある。
